Focus on the South Carolina State Election Commission
The South Carolina State Election Commission has implemented two products from our Clarity Elections Suite.
- ENR (Election Night Reporting)
- TRAINING (online poll worker training)
With ENR, the South Carolina State Election Commission found a solution that benefits the full range of people who interact with election results.
Benefits of ENR
When asked what ENR has helped the South Carolina State Election Commission to accomplish, Marci Andino told us that ENR has allowed them to provide voters, candidates, and the media with a tool to view election results with a clear and simple graphical representation of data. In addition, counties find the process for reporting to the state easier. The counties are now able to transmit partial results throughout the night so you can see the progress of an election. Marci says in working with S.O.E. Software from a high level, that she was pleased to find our team responsive to suggestions for improving the product.
Alan Helms worked directly with the implementation team at S.O.E. Software to get ENR up and running. He tells us that the state replaced a complicated solution with ENR, and that ENR has greatly simplified aggregation of results from counties. Working with S.O.E. Software, Alan says, he found the level of technical skills of our Account Management team phenomenal. Alan advises other clients who are implementing ENR to be ready to dedicate some time to the initial setup and to reserve time before each election for setting up the election in ENR. The setup work you put in beforehand will be well worth the time savings realized during and after an election.
