How to Make Sure Your Poll Worker File Uploads Succeed
If you are using Clarity TRAINING, you probably already know that the best way to ensure training content is assigned to new poll workers is to take advantage of automatic enrollment via FTP upload of the poll worker file from your VR system. But did you know that the file has to meet specific formatting requirements to succeed? The reason is that the process is automated via a script that looks for a specific file format, file name, and column names inside the file. If these items don't match what we originally set up for you in the script, then the script won't run.
Map to Success
Follow these tips to make sure the automatic file upload process goes smoothly:
- Save your file as CSV (comma delimited). Name the file the same every time. Don't add a number to the end or change the capitalization of the file name.

- Make sure the columns have the same names as in the original file you gave us the first time we imported poll workers. Order, spelling, and capitalization of these column headings must be identical to how we have them in the upload script, or the upload will not succeed.
