SOE Employee Spotlight

Doug Doug Rogers is our Creative Director at SOE Software. He comes to us from The Art Institute of Tampa where he is also an Instructor of Media Arts and Animation. In that capacity, he teaches classes ranging from traditional hand drawn animation, to acting and script writing, to 3D animation and special effects. Here at SOE Software, Doug works with a very talented creative team to continuously improve the look and feel of our products and develop new design concepts using the latest computer graphic technologies. Doug is also a veteran of the military. While serving in the U.S. Army, Doug worked as a combat medic and a combat videographer. He is currently working on a live action film that documents his tour of duty in Iraq.

Clarity ENR

When you have an election, you will need to post a link from your Web site to the published election results page generated by Clarity ENR. Most jurisdictions use the Election Summary link, but you can choose a slide show or scrolling view too. To find your links, log on to ENR admin, click the Elections tab, and then click the name of the election. The links are at the bottom of the page. You can copy and paste these onto your Web site to give the public and media access to election night results.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to copy the link from the bottom of the page; do not click on the link and copy the url from the browser. Clicking on the link adds a version ID parameter to the URL, which causes issues for a public user accessing the site because linked version of the page loads first, and then it reloads the page with the updated results.

Clarity TRAINING

Don't forget to plan ahead for training your election workers for each election cycle. Ideally, you should review and update your training at least 90 days before you need to begin training so you have plenty of time to make changes and test them. If you need help making updates, Contact Us to begin the change order process.

In addition, you should export and save reports before each new training cycle or if you need to republish and reset progress for any other reason. That way, you have historical training results for future reference. Not sure how to run and export reports? Check out our online help directly from the Admin area of the platform.
