SOE Software and IBM Partner to Help Provide Voter Services
TAMPA, FL -: SOE Software Corporation, a leading national provider of election and candidate management solutions, has partnered with IBM Global Services to help them provide a wide range of voter services -- from voter education to real-time voting results -- to customers worldwide.
SOE Software works with local supervisors of elections offices to provide voters with online, personalized access to a wide range of local election information, such as sample ballots, polling locations and directions, campaign finance reporting and real-time voting results. Currently nearly two million of Florida's approximately nine million registered voters can locate such information through Web sites powered by SOE Software. The technology also enhances productivity at election offices by reducing employee time typically spent on reacting to data and reporting requests.
As part of a three-year contract, SOE Software will call upon IBM Global Services to install its software at new client sites on an on demand basis. This allows SOE Software to focus on its core business without hiring additional IT staff. The agreement with IBM also provides SOE with information technology management expertise on a flexible basis.
